A key Brand Truth for The Bahamas is its suitability as a destination for weddings and honeymoons.
The 16 Islands Wedding Challenge gave couples the chance to win a dream wedding in The Bahamas. Each wedding was held on a different island, demonstrating the diversity of The Bahamas as a destination for weddings and honeymoons and added prospective honeymooners as well as holiday makers to the customer database.
The promotion generated almost 90,000 visitors to bahamas16weddings.co.uk with 20,000 couples and guests signing up to the database and won ‘Most Innovative Marketing Campaign’ at this year’s Chartered Institute of Marketing Travel Awards
